Leung Si Wai, Silvia is a music professional currently pursuing a Master's degree in Arts and Cultural Enterprise at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music and French from the University of Hong Kong. Her academic background and diverse experiences enable her to make a significant impact in the fields of music, culture, and business.
In addition to performing and organising concerts, Silvia is actively involved in music composition and excels in playing the dizi (Chinese bamboo flute). Her works blend traditional and contemporary elements, aiming to explore the limitless possibilities of musical expression. Through her dizi performances, Silvia showcases the unique charm of Chinese music, hoping to bring this beautiful art form to a wider audience. These compositions not only reflect her deep passion for music but also seek to resonate with audiences.
Throughout her career, Silvia has worked with the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble, where she successfully coordinated over 50 concerts, attracting more than 50,000 audience members. She has also conceptualised and formulated plans to rejuvenate Cantonese music from the 1910s to 1930s, further demonstrating her commitment to cultural preservation. She firmly believes that music serves as a vital medium for cultural exchange and strives to foster understanding and dialogue between different cultures.
Silvia is passionate about the integration of arts and technology. At the East Kowloon Cultural Centre, she coordinated research and development projects in advanced arts technology, exploring the applications of motion capture, projection mapping, and immersive audio systems, all aimed at enhancing the quality and appeal of cultural activities.
Recognising the importance of music and cultural education for societal development, Silvia is dedicated to helping more people understand and appreciate music while inspiring the next generation of creative talent. Through high-quality workshops and lectures, she aims to nurture emerging artists and cultural leaders.

音樂如同一陣清風,輕輕掀起竹林的帷幕,勾勒出竹子從萌芽到挺拔的生命旅程。每個樂段彷彿是竹子的成長印記,細膩地描繪出其在陽光與雨露中汲取養分的韌性與柔美。
樂器的選擇上,竹製的笛子如同自然的低語,傳遞出竹的靈動與清新。民族樂器與西方和聲的對位如同竹影交錯,構成鮮明的音景。主旋律如同竹枝在風中搖曳,伴奏則是大地的呼吸,共同編織出一曲和諧的交響。
在這旋律中,竹子不只是植物,更是生命的象徵,獨立和諧,展現出一種強韌而優雅的姿態。讓聽眾在音符的流轉中,感受竹的詩意與力量,彷彿置身於那片幽靜的竹林,心靈與自然共鳴。
